As part of its 2025 Christmas celebrations, Environmental Management Consultants Inc. (EMC) proudly hosted a team-building activity on December 19, 2025, featuring a series of friendly competitions and a festive Secret Santa gift exchange.
The event brought together team members from across the organisation to celebrate the season while strengthening collaboration and camaraderie. Participating teams represented the Administration and Finance Department, the Technical Department, the Marine Department, the EMC Foundation, and the IT Department.
Team members went head-to-head in engaging challenges, including a blindfolded bowl-scooping activity and an elevated ball-and-cup competition. These games not only tested participants’ coordination and problem-solving skills but also encouraged laughter, teamwork, and good spirits throughout the event.
The celebration also featured EMC’s cherished Secret Santa tradition, where each team member presented a specially selected Christmas gift to a colleague whose name had been chosen in advance. This exercise continues to grow each year, reflecting the expanding EMC family and the close bonds shared among staff.
The final team-building activity was complemented by an array of traditional Guyanese foods, desserts, and drinks, adding a cultural touch to the festivities.
These activities highlighted EMC’s continued commitment to fostering a positive work environment, strengthening interdepartmental relationships, and celebrating the moments that unite the team.
