Environmental Management Consultants Inc. (EMC Inc.) was proud to participate in the 2026 EPA Environment Day Exhibition, held as part of the national observance of World Environment Day. The event brought together Government agencies, private sector organisations, non-governmental organisations, students, and members of the public to promote environmental awareness and showcase initiatives that support sustainable development in Guyana.
As one of Guyana’s leading environmental service providers, EMC welcomed the opportunity to engage with attendees and highlight the company’s contribution to environmental management, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and community development. The exhibition served as an important platform to share knowledge, create partnerships, and raise awareness of the critical role environmental management plays in supporting Guyana’s development.
At the EMC booth, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the company’s wide range of environmental services and ongoing projects across the country. The team showcased specialised environmental monitoring equipment and innovative technologies used in field operations, including drone technology, which supports environmental assessments, mapping, monitoring, and data collection activities.
A key highlight of the exhibition was the visit by Honourable Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Anthony Phillips, the Prime Minister of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. During his visit to the EMC booth, the team discussed the company’s work in supporting sustainable development and demonstrated some of the advanced equipment used in environmental monitoring programmes. The engagement provided a valuable opportunity to showcase how science, technology, and innovation contribute to informed environmental decision-making and responsible development.
Throughout the event, EMC staff actively engaged with students, professionals, government representatives, and members of the public, sharing information about environmental issues, career opportunities in the environmental sector, and the services offered by the company. The team also distributed informational materials and promotional items, helping to increase awareness of EMC’s work and strengthen connections with stakeholders.
EMC Inc. extends its sincere appreciation to the Environmental Protection Agency for organising this event and to everyone who visited our booth. These interactions continue to inspire our commitment to supporting green growth through environmental services and delivering sustainable solutions to the environmental challenges of development.
