Environmental Management Consultants Inc recorded significant growth throughout 2025, a milestone made possible by the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of our team members across all departments. In recognition of these efforts, several team members were honoured for their outstanding contributions at our End-of-Year Staff Social, held on December 17, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel.
The awards ceremony formed part of an evening of celebration and appreciation, bringing together team members from the Admin & Finance, Technical, IT, Marine and EMC Foundation departments to reflect on achievements, teamwork, and the shared values that continue to drive the organisation forward. Each award recognised individuals who exemplified excellence, leadership, reliability, innovation, and service.
- The Rising Star Award was presented to Siddi Nandkishore in recognition of the exceptional growth and potential demonstrated throughout 2025.
- The Innovation & Creativity Award was awarded to Deopaul Somwaru for contributing unique ideas that led to improvements in organisational processes.
- The Team Player Award was presented to Totaram Mangroo and Noah Sills, both recognised for consistently going above and beyond in support of their teams.
- The Unsung Hero Award was awarded to Ronaldo Jacobis and Jumel Jarvis for making significant impacts quietly and selflessly, without seeking recognition.
- The Legacy Award was presented to Khalid Alladin in recognition of long-term and loyal service to the organisation.
- The Leadership Excellence Award was awarded to Michael Philander, Kandila Ramotar, and Sarah Singh for consistently exhibiting exceptional leadership skills and setting positive examples across the organisation.
- The Most Reliable and Dependable Award was presented to Shannon Stephenson for consistently delivering high-quality work on time.
- The Punctuality and Commitment Award was awarded to Sharmattie Ramnath for demonstrating dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
