Housing

The housing sector in Guyana has grown significantly in the last decade with large areas being opened up for housing development. EMC’s experience include:

• Conducted Environmental Assessment studies for the Low Income Housing Development Project which covered sites in the Bartica, Berbice and Demerara areas and for major housing developments along the East Bank of Demerara.

Through it’s collaboration with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), one of the leading global research institutions on renewable energy and sustainable development, EMC is well positioned to support the programme for green housing development and green cities.
