• Preparation of an Environmental Management Plan for a wind farm project along the Demerara coast.
• Preparation of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for a major hydro-electric project in the Potaro-Siparuni Region.

EMC’s Managing Director, Mr. Shyam Nokta served as Chief Representative for the Caribbean for the Delhi based The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), one of the leading global research institutions on renewable energy and sustainable development. Mr. Nokta is responsible for coordinating TERI’s work in the Guyana and the wider Caribbean with specific focus on promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy development.
