Environmental Management Consultants Inc. (EMC Inc.) was proud to participate in the 2026 edition of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, hosted at the Guyana Marriott Hotel from February 17–20, 2026. As one of Guyana’s leading environmental service providers, EMC welcomed the opportunity to contribute to one of the region’s premier energy events, which brought together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and technical experts from across the globe.
For the expo, EMC shared the booth with CSA Ocean Sciences, a Florida-based company specialising in multidisciplinary projects including marine studies and assessments. As a key partner, CSA Ocean Sciences played an important role in showcasing collaborative environmental initiatives at the conference. This partnership highlighted the value of combining local expertise with global technical experience to deliver high-quality environmental solutions.
Together, EMC and CSA Ocean Sciences showcased a wide range of services, including environmental baseline studies, impact assessments, marine surveys, regulatory compliance support, and specialised technical analyses. Attendees learned about cutting-edge equipment and innovative technologies used in environmental monitoring and offshore data collection, reinforcing EMC’s position as a leader in environmental consulting and sustainable project support in Guyana.
A key highlight of the conference included meaningful engagements with distinguished Government and private sector leaders. The team had the opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister of Guyana, Honourable Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Anthony Phillips, who expressed interest in EMC’s work and the environmental services that support responsible development. Additional engagements included discussions with the Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Honourable Anil Nandlall; the Minister of Public Service, Government Efficiency and Implementation, Honourable Zulfikar Ally; and the Minister within the Ministry of Housing, Honourable Vanessa Benn. These interactions underscored the importance of environmental stewardship in national development and governance.
Throughout the expo, EMC staff actively engaged with delegates, students, professionals, and potential clients, raising awareness about environmental initiatives and marketing consulting services offered by the company. The team distributed informational materials and EMC memorabilia, helping to expand the organisation’s visibility and attract new followers to EMC’s social media platforms.
