EMC SPONSORSHIP OF SCHOOL OF EARTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES BEST STUDENT ANNUAL AWARD

Environmental Management Consultants (EMC), for a fifth year has continued its sponsorship of the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences (SEES) Best 4th Year Student Award.

Every year SEES awards students for their academic excellence by presenting awards for:

• Best 1st Year Student;
• Best 2nd Year Student;
• Best 3rd Year Student;
• Best 4th Year Student and
• Best Final Year Project.

At the 2014 Awards Ceremony, held on February 20, 2014, Dr. Pratima Soni, Environmental Specialist at EMC presented the award to Best 4th Year Student Ms. Gilhuys.

Founder of EMC, Mr. Shyam Nokta, was invited as a special guest and offered brief remarks. Mr. Nokta was among the first batch of students to graduate from SEES with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies with the distinction of being Best Graduating Student.
